The Oversights
We worked with Newport based band 'The Oversights' to develop and shoot a music video for their latest song 'Summer Nights'.
Working with the band and local Director and Editor David Parfitt, we built the idea from the ground up using the lyrics of the song and the feel of the music to create a short narrative and performance capture of the band. After mind mapping, storyboarding and crafting a final shot list, the piece was shot across two days on location and at Firebug Studios.
We wanted to produce a piece that was professional and had a clean look to it, but also wanted to incorporate some ideas to set the video apart by filming through smashed mirrors to enhance the climax of the piece.
Once released, the video quickly became the bands' most viewed video and we received very positive feedback from 'The Oversights' who are looking to book further work for their upcoming music.
